Celebrated author Chuck Palahniuk brought his latest novel Tell-All on tour to Calgary (his only Canadian stop) at the John Dutton Theatre in the Central Public Library on May 12.
For $33 audience members received a signed copy of the new book while the first 100 people there got to meet Palahniuk up-close and personal as well as have their copy of Tell-All personalized.
In typical bizzaro style, Palahniuk hosted competitions involving large inflatable turkeys, hearts and other trophies. This was followed by a tour story entitled Knock, Knock, a brilliantly blended tale of death told through the conventions of stand-up comedy. A brief Q & A session followed.
Tell-All, Palahniuk’s eleventh novel, was released May 4.
