The cover of this album speaks for itself. A spherical shape that zones into a small black pit–that’s exactly where this disc originates from and belongs, a black pit I like to call Edmonton.
The CD contains 11 tracks, easily placed into the commercial alternative category, with generic sounds strewn about and an apparent yearning to sound utterly mainstream. Certain tracks, such as "Strange Days" and "Conform," display decent musical ability, good guitars and a fair amount of beat. However, the vocals remain drained and, for the most part, the lyrics don’t flow.
I’ll give Exit 303 credit for at least writing all of their own songs, but by the end of the disc, I can honestly say that the only exit I was craving was the one I like to call "the door."
