Fire Theft is a band based in Seattle, named after Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods for human use. Formed in 2003, this band’s self-titled debut is worth taking note of.
The album takes off with the explosive song, “Uncle Mountain” and reaches its climax with “Heaven,” an extraordinary song with strong vocals and an excellent instrumental background. This album also has its darker shades, with songs like “Oceans Apart” and “Summertime.”
The emotional voice paired with the intense instrumental backgrounds and thought-provoking lyrics set this band and their album apart. Definitely worth a listen.
