Fearless Freep, Go Cry

By Russ Dyck

Sometime in their careers, most hard rock bands try to put out a song that is much softer than what they usually play. The bulk of them are highly unsuccessful.

Fearless Freep’s album is what all those bands try to achieve, but just can’t. They also add a small, yet noticeable amount of country into the mix, which makes their sound original and laid back. This is a CD that you can put on while you’re visiting with a good friend, since it will lighten both your moods and doesn’t interfere. It is time for pop-country to bow off the stage with as much grace as being sequined cowboys will allow them, and let Fearless Freep take on the world.
