Tibet conference

Students for a Free Tibet tried to educate students and the public on issues surrounding the disputed region this week.

"We figure the university is a good place to educate people on human rights and freedom in Tibet," said Stephanie Garrett, Co-executive director of the University of Calgary Students for a Free Tibet club.

Garrett encourages students to attend a free public discussion forum on Fri., Mar. 7 in mfh 162 at 7 p.m. entitled A Cause for Courage: International Perspectives on the Current Movement to Free Tibet.
