The best album of the year has to be Tim McGraw’s Set This Circus Down on Curb Records.
Just when country fans thought the music couldn’t get much better following 1999’s "A Place in the Sun" and the smash hits "Something Like That" and "Please Remember Me" McGraw came storming back with the a full compilation of singles, most of which have been or are destined for the top of the charts.
From the moment you throw this disc on you’re taken on a trip of highs, lows and everything in between. With songs like "The Cowboy in Me" an instant anthem for all men, and the not so subtle "Things Change" a response to last year’s attack on new country from grassroots muscians Alan Jackson and George Strait, McGraw captures the essence of simple living in a new world.
Set this Circus down is a CD you can listen to and sing along to from beginning to end, and is easily the year’s best country album.
